The truth is, none of us ever fully figure it out. Yet so many of us spend years trying to arrive somewhere.

Life keeps moving. We keep changing. And somehow the learning never ends.

“Sorry for the confusion. It’s all about embodiment.” My friend Nancy once said this about my life, and honestly, it still makes me laugh because it is true.

She also called me “the sex type” of leader: someone who leads through the body, presence, instinct, and what is actually alive.

That has not always been easy for me. For a long time, I did not always know where my body ended and another person’s began. I could feel so much, take in so much, and often confused sensitivity with responsibility.

Part of embodiment has been learning discernment. Learning what is mine, what belongs to someone else, and how to stay connected without losing myself.

These are four experiences that brought me deeper into my body and shaped how I live, create, and lead.

Can you spot the bad hair day? 😅 One of my kids is sick. I didn’t sleep much. And dancing in front of a camera still feels vulnerable and weird.

But who cares? (Like, really cares?)

I made a promise to myself: to show up more. To hide less behind depth, perfectionism, or my DJ booth.

So here’s episode two of “Now What?” - where I share more of my art, my confusion, my work, my dreams, my joy, and the messy humanness behind it all.

Turning 44 this Summer! In my full system update era.

Moving countries, changing work, finding a new rhythm, selling things online, making music again, and trying to build a life that actually fits in this season of my life.

Part 1 of figuring it. 🎶🧡

My life lately… Buying and selling clothes. Saying goodbye to old versions of myself. Trying on new ones. Packing boxes. Preparing for Spain. Letting some things go. Discovering what still carries a spark. Figuring out how to provide for my family. Feeling excited. Feeling uncertain. Feeling very alive. 🌺

And of course: dancing my way through it all. 💃🏻✨

My heart feels open and deeply moved looking back at Sunday Pulse.

What an evening, as I was not only guiding the dance, but also moving between many roles at once - mother, organizer, poet, space holder, artist, human. There was beauty, there was fumbling and stumbling too. 😅

These spaces keep teaching me about listening, care, expectations, ceremony, nervous systems, and what it really means to gather together.

Thank you to everyone who shared their hearts with us afterwards. We are listening. We are learning. And Pulse keeps evolving.

For years, poetry has been moving through my work - inside dance journeys, spoken word, rituals, and songs.

Recently, I also began creating soul poem artworks for people moving through meaningful moments in life - transitions, celebrations, grief, love, new beginnings, endings. Personal pieces woven from words, symbols, textures, and the deeper layers moving through someone’s life.

And now, I am also taking new pieces of the poem Give Heart with me to upcoming festivals and gatherings. The first one will be this Sunday Pulse with Mitsch Kohn, where we will be sharing the poem live together for the very first time. ✨

So excited for these poems to find their way into the world through voice, music, movement, and art.

People ask me why we are moving to Spain. And the answer is actually very simple.

We long for a life closer to the land. Closer to rivers, trees, silence, community, fire, and the rhythms of nature. A place where our children can grow up hearing birds in the morning and seeing foxes and deer cross the land.

At the same time, this move carries a deep gratitude for where I come from. For the house my mother and father dreamed into life together almost 45 years ago. The house my father built brick by brick with his own hands. The home that held our family through so many seasons of life.

Leaving Belgium is emotional. And in a beautiful way, I deeply feel my father supporting us in this transition too, even though he is no longer physically here.

And of course, I will continue traveling and touring, sharing dances, music, poetry, workshops, and retreats in different places. And you will be welcomed on our land as well.

Thank you mama and papa. And thank you to all of you for being part of this journey.

To pause with my family and my dreams, to unwind, to celebrate, to regenerate, to recalibrate, to play. And pausing is often the first thing I forget when I am diving into new projects. 🤣

Everything moves step by step - by unlearning the rush and returning to listen within.

Hello dear one, and welcome. My name is Caroline S’Jegers - I’m a mother of two sons, a wife of Josse from Edible Landscapes @eetbaarlandschap - weaving between ceremony and song, between the wisdom of the earth and the creativity of my soul, and between remembrance and what sets us free.

I am a truth speaker, a dance anthropologist and researcher - and I care deeply about life, connection, and music with soul. As the first female Ecstatic Dance DJ in Europe, and as a Virgo sun with a Sagittarius moon and a 5/1 Generator, I’m devoted to bringing our roots back to the land, and to co-creating spaces where we return to what truly matters. I love apple pie. The sound of birds. The art of sunsets. And staring into the ocean horizon.

Since my father passed over 15 years ago, I am listening within the listening within the listening - and it keeps unfolding. You will often hear me speak in a poetic language (you can listen to my first album Birthing a Forest on all streaming platforms), or shift identities while communicating, calling on all worlds to support us - honoring the generations before us and leaving the world a more beautiful place for the generations to come. Because I believe we have a choice - and a strong responsibility. To sing our songs, to care for ourselves and our precious earth, and to dance our own dance. I meet people as equals, each of us connected to source in our own unique way.

I am passionate about building movement into movements. My work has grown through years on the dance floor and in communities across the world. I live in Belgium and will soon move to the mountains. After years of witnessing intensity, beauty, and everything in between, I have learned to listen deeply, to stay present, and to guide what wants to move. At times, I might even hear your thoughts out loud in the middle of the silence…

Yesterday I was preparing for a poetic talk (today!) at the Quantum Seminar. Spring is in the air, and I just love being alive.

Words are like spells. What is your magical wish today? Not only for yourself, but also for our human family.

With all the heartbreak so many of us are moving through, I feel how the land keeps calling us back. Back into presence. Back into what holds us. Back into what truly matters… 🌼🌱✨

Who else felt like moving the past month through a birthing canal?

So much intensity. And what a breath of fresh air now that Spring has arrived.

Did you know that the word spirit comes from the Latin spiritus - breath. The word breath in Greek, pneuma, also means spirit. To breathe is to be inspired by life.

Before we travel to Spain next month - wieeee, exciting - Annemie Maes and I are hosting a series of ecstatic song and dance evenings in Leuven (Belgium).

SUNDAY PULSE is a guided ceremonial journey where we gather in song and dance, and move together into a deeper connection with ourselves and each other. Because I keep witnessing how the opening of our voice opens the body, and how movement brings us into a deeper layer of expression.

Our words, actions and intentions - like spells - carry such power. They shape the field inside and around us. So let’s come together, celebrate life, breathe, and also hold those who are suffering in our prayers.

Our bodies are an extension of the earth, and our breath is an extension of spirit. Across many traditions, breath and spirit are the same word - in Latin spiritus, in Greek pneuma, in Hebrew ruach. All pointing to the same remembering: breath is life force moving through us.

To inspire means to breathe in, to be in spirit, to allow life to enter and move through us. So today, return to your breath and listen with your whole being. Breathing keeps you in relationship with life, as the earth moves into spring.

We have entered spring. With each breath, I keep praying for every person on this planet be nourished and safe.

For me, every day is women’s day. A day for mothers. A day for humanity to dream a new world into being - to raise our voices, speak truth, sing our joy and grief, rage together, create, dream, and celebrate life.

When I first started DJing and speaking in front of people, I was terrified. My voice trembling, every part of me wanting to disappear. What once felt like dying slowly revealed itself as one of my super powers.

We are witnessing so much pain and destruction in the world right now. Many people are asking what we can do, and yes - we are called to take action wherever we can.

And at the same time, something deeper is asking for our attention. The wisdom of the feminine - the courage to listen, to slow down, and to return to life itself.

I don’t know what the future holds. I trust that somewhere within the chaos lives our capacity to create beauty.

So I’m curious - what is life asking of you right now? Let us reach out and reach in again… 💔

A few years ago, I found myself completely burned out, even from living my passion. And I realized - once again - that I don’t need to have it all figured out. It is not my task to do so.

For my entire life, my inner guidance has been telling me to simply trust the mystery.

Pulse was born from a deep place of homecoming, when I surrendered once more to the mystery of life. Because if you ask me, we don’t need to perform or have answers ready. In Pulse I share movement journeys, music, and reflections. There is also a community space supporting us to stay close to what matters. Pulse is an online space where we dive into listening and rediscover our own creative expression.

What if change can happen in the blink of an eye? All of our potential already lives inside.

Coming home to ourselves feels like a revolutionary act. Again and again, I hear the same longing. A longing for spaces where we can live closer to what truly matters. Spaces where we can remember who we are. I believe our deepest power lies in turning inward and creating from a place of listening.

Witnessing the gentle unfolding of Pulse over these past months has felt like a gift. Pulse is an online archive of movement journeys, curated dance sets, meditations, writing prompts, daily practices, and shared circles - a creative and embodied home woven into daily life, in your living room, on your kitchen floor, or outside in the garden.

This season moves with the theme of Emergence, listening for what is already beginning to grow.
